Wireless TechBIO of R. Shane Mundee

CWNE Certification Status Update:  <Pending...>

In my quest to achieve Planet3 Wireless's top vendor-neutral wireless credential, the Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE), I have encountered many difficulties.  This is a hard credential to earn.  I am using this web page to document my journey...  All that separates me from the CWNE credential are two 500-word essays detailing real-life enterprise wireless engagements.  My job duties here at TechSkills don't currently allow for any new interesting wireless projects so this certification quest is sadly on-hold at least until I can locate and perform two new enterprise wireless engagements.

• I passed the CWNA exam (pw0-100) on 04/17/2006.

• I passed the CWSP exam (pw0-200) on 12/11/2006.

• I passed the CWAP exam (pw0-205) on 12/22/2006.

• I submitted a 27-page application on 12/29/2006 which included:

  • CWNE Application

  • My comprehensive chronological professional resume

  • 3 signed letters of reference from fellow IT professionals

  • 1 signed letter of reference from my director here at TechSkills

  • 3 500-word essays detailing and showcasing my enterprise wireless expertise and experience.

• Response dated 2/16/2007 from Devin Akin, Chief Technology Officer, The CWNP Program.

• Response dated 03/05/2007 from Devin Akin, Chief Technology Officer, The CWNP Program.
