In addition to my college coursework, I passed the ICCP Systems Development exam, the CompTIA E-Biz+ exam and the Dantes Management Information Systems (MIS) exam. I passed an additional four Microsoft exams earning the MCSA and recertifying my MCSE (for the third time) on Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
Information Technology Manager 2003 - 2004 First Financial Corporation, Waco, TX Information Technology Manager for a multi-million dollar privately held financial services company with 150+ employees and 11 branch offices. Focused on implementing department policies and procedures; Collaborated with staff to create professional development plans for each team member. Utilized helpdesk reporting to engage executive management and motivate staff to higher performance levels. Took the lead role of educating all employees in IT Security. Managed a seven-person IT department including a pc technician, network administrator, software developer and a night computer operator. Added four new staff during my tenure: pc technician, .NET software developer, database developer and network systems engineer.
